Q: If I can’t make it to either packet pick-up before the race, is there another way for me to get my packet?

A: We encourage all runners to take advantage of one of our two designated packet pick-ups. For those who must pick up on race day, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your race start to claim your packet at the registration area located on the intramural field.

Q: Can I pick up my family or friend’s packet?

A: In order to pick up for another runner, you must have their printed registration receipt.

Q: Can we bring pets (i.e. dogs) to the race?

A: Due to campus compliance issues, no pets are allowed at the event. Exceptions are made for guide dogs.

Q: How will I know how I did in my race or if I placed in my race?

A: Results are typically available within one hour after the start of each race and will be displayed on monitors located at the Timing Booth on the Arena Plaza. A link to the race results will be available online at runtofightcancer.com.

Q: Is there an age limit to participate in the race? Do young children need to register?

A: This event is open to all ages. Children 4 years old or younger are free and do not require registration. Runner tech shirts are available to registered participants only.

Q: Can I run with my stroller?

A: Strollers are allowed in the 5K and Cancer Survivors Walk. No strollers will be allowed in the 10K race.

Q: Will there be water and refreshments available at the race?

A: Yes, water will be provided at the finish line, as well as along the route. Refreshments for runners and walkers will be provided after the 10K and 5K.

Q: I can’t make it to the run anymore. Can I transfer my registration to someone else or get a refund?

A: Participant registrations cannot be transferred and no refunds are provided, as all proceeds go directly to benefiting charities.
